I first met Fran 36 years ago when we were at RT school together.  She worked at Southlake for 35 years, a truly dedicated and wonderful RT. Fran's passion was asthma and we will walk in her honor in the Scotiabank run/walk on Sunday, October 20th in Toronto representing the Asthma Society. Fran was an excellent professional who taught me a lot during our shared work in caring for our young patients at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket. Always polite, with a ready smile and gentle spirit, she was truly one of the best in her field. We lift up her family to the Lord for comfort, and praise God for lending her to us. It was a privilege to have shared a little bit of her life.

Fran embodied the very best of Southlake.  She was knowledgeable and professional yet warm and kind, reliably level-headed even in the toughest of circumstances. She always put our patients first and she looked out for her colleagues, too. Fran will always be a role model for all of us as we move forward in the wake of this terrible loss.

so sorry to hear of Fran's passing - having grown up as neighbours on stoddart drive #32&38.  She was always a happy child.  We met a few years ago at the hospital and she was still the same Fran. Our love and prayers go out to her family .  Mrs. Margaret Jones & family.

I only knew and worked with her during Steve (Leadbeater's) time with the Upper Canada Chorus but she was always friendly, welcoming and enthusiatic about life and what was going on around her. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.  I worked with Fran at Southlake since I started working there 11 years ago.  She was very knowledgeable and always very supportive. She will be greatly missed in the Southlake family.

My heartfelt condolences to all of you. I had the good fortune of meeting Fran and helping her with a project here at Southlake a few years ago. Her warmth, professionalism and friendliness stood out. I was always very happy to see her in the hallways and we exchanged greetings on a regular basis. She was a lovely lady. You were blessed to have her.
