Hazel Irene Giles

Hazel was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Allen Giles for more than 67 years. She is survived by their children Gayle Parkinson (Bill), Lynne Bolinger (Randy), David Giles (Lenora), and Craig Giles (Joanne); she is also survived by her daughter, Susan Davies.

Adored Gramma of Brent (Oge), Ryan (Sarah), Daniel (Joana), Chantal (Ryan), Adam (Nicole), Jordan (Samantha), Andrew (Bri), Ethan, and Michael. Proud Great Grandmother of Oliver, Theodore, Milena, Hayden, Jack, Georgia and Micah. Predeceased by brother Wendell and sisters Joan, Betty Lou, and June. Hazel will be fondly remembered by her sister Beverley and her extended family and friends.

We were blessed to share many years of wonderful memories which we will hold in our hearts forever. Special thanks to the Southlake Medical Acute Care Team, the staff of the Roxborough Retirement Residence and Ontario Health at Home.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON, L4G 6W8, Canada, on Saturday April 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

A Memorial Service will follow at Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday April 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a reception to follow the Service.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Presbyterian Church in Canada.
