Sorry to see this news. It has been years since I had the privledge of spending a days reprieve from both BSS and Havergal with your family. Heather was always so kind to me. I loved the days I got to share out at the farm with her.

I am so very sad to lose Heather.  I have many good memories riding, dinners movies and the Royal Winter fair with her. She was a good friend to me and I will miss her!  My condolences to her lovely sons and their families.

My husband, Billy Ray, and I have known both Heather and Michael for many years and are saddened once again for the loss of Heather. Our experiences with Michael were during our years working with General Motors of Canada for their dealer and sales shows and exhibits. For me, my pilot training days at Buttonville Airport and all the activities related to The Ninety-Nines International Women Pilot Association and the Northern Lights Award Foundation bring back wonderful times getting to know Heather.  Heather brought a kind and vibrant spirit in all she did with her great and varied work in aviation. Members of our family often attended the Polo matches at Fox Den Farm over the years, and I bumped into Heather on occasion at our mutual local post office!  During an interview at the farm for her Elsie MacGill Northern Lights award I remember how her face lit up when she introduced her family of animals to us.  Heather will be sorely missed, and a hole is in the heart of aviation, but I will never forget her. Our deepest condolences to the Sifton family.
