Born November 9, 1946 in Toronto, Jim moved to Richmond Hill where he attended High School and formed many long-lasting friendships. He began his career in the mailroom at General Electric and was promoted into the Financial Management Program, where he met his wife, Wendy. Retiring as Manager of Finance at the Appliance Division after 44 years.
Jim was passionate about his family and doggies. He was also very active playing hockey, baseball and eventually golf. His love for sports wasn’t about the score, but about all of the friends he made along the way.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Wendy, son Darryl (Lara), dog Cooper, brother Fred (Astrida), Nieces Krista, Alex, Sheryl, Mardi and Nephew Wayne.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
