Peacefully in Richmond Hill, Ontario on Saturday September 23, 2017. Joan beloved mother of Lea, and her husband James Lailey, John, and William. Cherished GeeGee of Jane, Courtney, Magnus, and Danny. Also survived by her sister Lea, and her husband Steve Parson. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905 727-5421) on Sunday October 1, from 2-5pm, and on Monday October 2, from 6-8pm. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 12935 Keele Street, King City on Tuesday October 3 at 11am. Interment of Joan’s cremated remains will be held in the church’s Easter Garden following the service. In memory of Joan, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
