Katherine Doreen Nelson Bulloch

Devoted mother of Linda (Stephen), David, and Steven (Bob). Proud grandmother of Caitlin and Sean. Cherished sister of Joan (Bert), Barbara and Gail (Ray), and sister-in-law of Tom (Margaret). Predeceased by loving husband Alan, brothers Crawford, Bruce (Lois) and Stewart (Margaret), parents Margaret and Fred, and Al’s parents Catherine and James. Favourite aunt of her nieces and nephews.

Kathy was born in Toronto, the youngest of 7 children. She spent most of her life in Don Mills and Scarborough, and she recently moved to Aurora. She worked as a secretary beginning in her 20’s until her retirement at age 70.

Kathy was the glue that kept the family bonded and the person everyone went to for advice. She was extremely loyal and devoted to her family. Her generous and giving nature meant that she and Al opened their home to anyone, at any time. Kathy was known for her home cooked meals, delicious desserts, and dance parties in the living room. She loved ballroom dancing, watching old Fred Astaire movies, sharing a bottle of wine, travelling, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays.

Kathy brought much love and happiness to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
