
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion, peacefully, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Allan (Al), brother-in-law William (Bill) Babcock and niece, Cathy Burnett. She will be deeply missed by her sister Jean Babcock (nee Archibald) and her nephews and nieces Fred and Phensri Babcock, Marion and Norm Knisley, Scott and Brenda Babcock, Hugh and Sharla Babcock, Bruce Babcock, Bill Burnett, Susan and Howard Isaacs, and David and Barb Burnett. A wonderful aunt to her many great nephews and nieces, and great, great nieces and nephews. A special and much loved friend and neigbour to John, Lisa and Kate. Life long friend of Bev Andrews. She will be missed by her friends and her extended family, many of whom she met through golf, curling, work, travel, her church (York Pines United), and from her beloved community of Kettleby. She lived life fully and generously. Marion received wonderful support and care from the Home Palliative Care Team. Special thanks to Dr. Fry, Mike, Vicky, Puri and Joy. Appreciation extended to the caring staff at Hollandview Trail Retirement Community. At Marion’s request there will be a private internment. Celebration of Life is Sunday May 4th, 2 - 4 pm at RedCrest Golf Course, 17700 Keele Street, King, Ontario. You may leave a message of condolence for Marion’s family at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway, Aurora L4G 6W8. Memorial donations may be made to Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake.
