Mom, on this one year anniversary of your passing we miss you dearly and will always remember how you treated everyone, with love and compassion.  And I will always remember how you never took off your wedding rings, a symbol of your 60 year marriage to Dad.  And when as a kid you bought me a box of turtles chocolates to reward me for finding the diamond that fell out of your wedding ring setting.  We love and miss you every day Mom.

I’m saddened to learn about my dear friend Otti lein’s passing.
We were friends for many years both personally and as coworkers. 
Otti  had an amazing personality always seeing the best in people so kind and loving. Her manner of providing good sensible advice was unique. Her never ending expressions that only she could deliver always received with bales of laughter. 
That smile and  warm hugs will always remind me of her.
 I will always treasure those times  we were together with our families at the Hall’s pool. 
We laughed and cried together, but never an unkind word passed between us. 
Her cheesecake was stellar and constantly in demand whatever the occasion. 
 Otti it’s been a slice . You have definitely left cheesecake prints on my ♥️

It was with great sadness I read about Ottie's passing. I send my sympathy and condolences to Ottie's family, her children and grandchildren. We are her cottage neighbours at Wasaga Beach.  Ottie loved the beach and I enjoyed talking with her when I saw her there. Ottie was always so friendly, enthusiastic, and truly interested in hearing about my family too. Good times were had at the Schmidt's cottage for many years on the August long weekend.

Tante Otti was like a second mother to me. I was very close to her and to my beloved Uncle Barry. They were indeed like another set of parents. Our families spent a lot of time together, and my aunt and I travelled together on the go train to work for years. I could talk to her about anything in the world. She was always so supportive, so loving and taught me so much about life, about relationships, about family, cooking! Everything. I even lived with her during my college days. She was a good friend to me and very special. I always felt her love. I will miss her tremendously but I take comfort knowing she is at peace.
