Dear Sue, Hailey and Sam, We love you all and hold you close in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. We all have so many great memories together at the cottage and on the soccer fields. Roy and Terry spent many weekends together working on the property, fishing, boating, bomb fires and enjoying many great meals together. These memories are with us all forever and will never be forgotten. Hailey and Sam your Dad loved you both so much and was so proud of everything you do as he always talked about you both when we were together.

I am so sorry to hear of Roy's passing.  My condolences to Susan and their two  daughters, his sister Arlene and his brother Ross and sister in law Diannahlee and sister in law Gwen and families.  He will be missed by all his friends and family.  He will be at peace now.....

Roy was the first person our family met when we moved across the street from him in 1999. He came over the second day we moved in. Seeing I had 2 young children, a garage full of furniture and a husband who had gone to work, he didn't say a word but started helping bring boxes into the house. Over the next 19 years he was a kind friend with a great capacity for understanding human nature, a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to help anyone in need. We had so many awesome chats on his front porch sharing a diet coke and swapping stories. One of my favorite memories with Roy was the first Christmas I was on my own. Roy came to the door and asked me to come over for his "special" eggnog and a car chase game. After losing many times while playing the game, I started to reverse my car and go backwards. Stunned, Roy said, "Pat you cant do that" I responded with " Oh but I can Roy and I just did!" He started to reverse his car as well and we finished the game. We laughed and laughed. He made a sad day a happy one. That was Roy. Boy he loved his girls, he was so proud of them both. The world is a duller place with him gone. Roy as kids we lived together, we fought,we laughed and we cried. We did not always show each other the love  we had for one another. We shared our dreams and plans for the future, and some secrets too. All these memories we have shared, is now the only thing that bonds me to you.
