Ruth Mary Beaton

Ruth was a loving, caring, beautiful wife to Greg, a loving and wonderful mother to Laura (Nick) and Joshua (Alexandra) and she is very missed by the family dog, Riley.

Ruth was born on January 4, 1965, in Toronto, and was a devoted daughter to the late Ana Maria and Francisco Da Silva. A loving, caring sister to Margaret Campbell (Scott) and loving Aunt to Olivia (Sam) and Brett. Ruth was an incredible daughter-in-law to Catherine and her late husband Gary Beaton, and a wonderful sister-in-law to Rebecca, Christopher (Sylvie) and Paul.

Ruth was a Town of Aurora employee for 36 years. She enjoyed painting folk art, was an avid reader of mystery novels and classic literature, and she loved classic movies from the 1930-1950’s. She enjoyed traveling, live theatre, and she was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Her family and friends will miss her laugh, smile and positive energy.

A Visitation for Ruth will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Of Grace RCC, 15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G1N7. An interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L3T 2C7. A reception will be held following the interment at Thompson Funeral Home.
