

He was known for his deep love of family, his generosity, and his lifelong commitment to taking care of others. Morteza found joy in bringing people together, especially through cooking, and was famously skilled in the art of kabob. He was a man of strong convictions who loved conversation, debate, and spending time with family and friends.
Morteza is survived by his beloved wife, Mojgan Tavakoli, and his cherished son, Sina Mortazavi, as well as five sisters, one brother, and many extended family members and friends who will keep his memory alive.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud father, and someone people could always count on.

A committal service will follow at Aurora Cemetery Corporation, located at 14253 Yonge St, Aurora, Ontario, L4G 0P2, Canada, on January 24, 2026, from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm.
