Missing you so very much daddy. It was such a short time ago you left me, but yet it seems so long ago. You will forever be in my heart. I love you more than all the stars in the sky.

Wayne drove my son Erik and myself to my Aunt Helen's memorial at the Finish Hall in Toronto. When I asked my son where Wayne went, he said over there he's talking to the gentlemen at that table. Does Wayne know Finish? No my son answered but he was in Sudbury and he knows people from all over! He's that type of guy...friendly and outgoing..loved by all who meet him..he'll talk to anybody...such a nice man he shall be truly missed!

Wayne was a wonderful, kind, caring and selfless man who could put a smile on anyone's face. My heart goes out to Mary, and the rest of the family who he loved and who loved him so very much. I feel honored to have known him. He will be missed.

Grampee, loosing you is such a great loss for the world. You were always the man to light up the room, to take care of everyone else before yourself & always so knowledgeable. I am so grateful for the many years I had the honour of calling you grandpa. You will be greatly missed and always remembered! We love you so much!

My daddy. You were my hero, my rock, and my comfort. You're gone now and my heart feels like it has shattered into a billion irreparable pieces. You gave me the best life you could, and I never wanted for anything ... We never had a lot, but we always had everything we ever needed. I always had clothes, food, a roof over my head and as many hugs and love as I could handle in a day. I miss you so much. I miss our giggles, our talks, your advice and I miss laying my head in your lap and falling into the most comfortable and safest sleep I could ever have... even a 20 minute cat nap would make me feel like I had slept for a year. You taught me to be kind, loving, caring, compassionate, giving and forgiving. You never judged anyone, never held a grudge, and treated everyone as equals. You gave me good morals and values. You were the best father anyone could have ever had or hoped for. But I was the lucky one. I got you. When I climbed into the edge of your hospital bed on Monday night to cuddle up to you, you smiled, and patted my shoulder. When I said "that's better" you said "yep". I almost fell asleep and when I told you that you laughed and said "you better not do that". You're no longer suffering and in pain. I thank god that he showed you kindness and compassion by making your passing fast and painless. I have lost my father. But heaven has gained the purest of heart angels. I'll see you again one day Daddy. Just wait for me.
