Aaron Ray Hill

Aaron Ray Hill, age 51, passed away May 1, 2026. Aaron was born on September 29, 1974, in Reno, Nevada to Vince and Teri Keefe Hill. His family relocated to Austin in 1980 where Aaron was in the first graduating class of Johnston High School Liberal Arts Academy. Upon graduating from high school at the age of 17, Aaron joined the United States Marine Corps where he honorably served for 14 years. During his time in the Marine Corps he received many commendations, worked in Force Recon, Marine Expeditionary Unit, and other specialties, and achieved the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. While in the Marine Corp, Aaron attended both the University of South Florida and the University of Connecticut where he earned a bachelor’s degree. Among his various jobs, Aaron worked as an Actuary in the insurance industry and later Aaron worked for many years in the semiconductor industry for Pentagon Technologies. He was very dedicated and passionate about his work and was highly regarded by his colleagues. Aaron enjoyed watching college basketball and his favorite movie was A Beautiful Mind, chronicling the life of mathematician John Nash who won a Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Vince Hill. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Teri Keefe Hill; uncle, Mike Keefe; aunt, Laura Webb; several cousins and a host of friends.
