

She was born to John and Stacie Evans, Sept. 18, 1993, in Houston, TX. Abbie was born with a rare skin disease (Epidermolysis Bullosa – EB) that would have been debilitating for most but through her strength and zest for life, made her a shining star for anybody that came into contact with her.
Abbie was passionate about making a difference in the lives of people around her and she profoundly touched the hearts of all that knew her. Abigail was active in bringing awareness for EB. She loved life, people, and her family meant the world to her. She was a light of inspiration for all that knew her, came into contact with her, and will remain in our hearts for an eternity. She was the most courageous, fun-loving spirit that ever set foot in this physical world.
Abigail is survived by her parents, Stacie Evans and John Evans, Gary Miller and Emily Bell; her siblings, Kayla Evans and Blake Kemp, G-mama and G-daddy Evans, Kenneth Barton Evans, Ann Dillard Evans; Grandparent, Cecile Kemp; aunts and uncles, Kenneth Barton Evans Jr., Karen Evans, Scott Thomas Evans and Kimberly Peel Evans, Jason Kemp, Brian Kemp, Steven Kemp, Riki Kemp; cousins, Morgan Evans, Andrew Evans, Hannah Evans, Mary Evans, Jayde Davis, Bruin Evans, Kirstie Evans, Michael New, William New, Samantha Jordan, Jake Kemp, Jaycie Kemp, Logan Kemp, Chase Kemp, Connor Kemp, Chance Kemp, and Alex Kemp.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Stacie Evans account at Neches Federal Credit Union this will be set up for another small memorial in Nederland for friends and family who are unable to travel.
A viewing will be held from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave., with Funeral Service to begin at 4:00 pm. A small reception to follow
