Adrienne Constant DeVergie, 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born on March 23, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts to Jean Constant DeVergie and Helen Marie Nolan DeVergie. She worked for many years as a Librarian for the University of Texas and was previously the Head of Technical Services at the University of Denver School of Law. Adrienne was very proud of being a published author and being an impact to many people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Moore; parents, Jean and Helen DeVergie; and brothers, Alain and Paul DeVergie.
She is survived by her nieces, Shelle and Melissa; nephew Bill DeVergie; good friend, Pat Giles; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to all of the staff at Stonebridge Nursing Home for their love and care.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10am to 1pm on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home 2620 S Congress, Austin, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 1pm. Burial to immediately follow in Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
