Agnes married Morris Daywood in 1966. She was a loving wife and mother and a devout Catholic who took pride in leading the rosaries before mass every Saturday evening at Sacred Heart Church.
She enjoyed working at St. Mary's Catholic School and Sacred Heart Catholic School as the After School Director. She loved the kids and took care of them as her own and oftentimes you could find her playing kickball with them in the afternoon. She also acted as the assistant coach to her daughter’s kickball teams.
She will be remembered for her countless acts of service to her community and the church. She served in the Ladies of Charity for over 25 years. Every Thursday they would go to nursing homes and play bingo with the residents. She enjoyed bringing them snacks, prizes, and gifts.
Agnes and Morris loved to go to Las Vegas, often taking road trips there with family and friends. Being sure to stop in New Mexico and Nevada to take in the sights. She enjoyed Texas Hold Em', Blackjack, and of course the slot machines. Agnes once won $8k in Vegas on her 77th Birthday!
She will be missed tremendously as well as her delicious kolaches, that she would make for family and friends.
She is preceded in death by five of her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Morris Daywood and daughter, Lizette Daywood, two sisters, Theresa Lamza (Ernest) and Josie Cosper, and many nieces and nephews.
