Alexander Charles (Chuck) McLean, M/Sgt. Ret., USAF of Austin passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the age of 74. Chuck was born in Medford, Oregon. Following high school graduation, he joined the Air Force, proudly serving his country for 27 years. Preceding Chuck in death were his parents, Duncan and Verda McLean; father and mother-in-law, Gordie and Ida Alexander; daughter-in-law, Sue Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Dottie McLean; son, Alex McLean, wife, Carolyn and children, Katy, Richard, and Amanda; daughter, Judy Connell, husband, Jody and children, Joel and Janna all of Florida; son, Skip Morgan; daughter, Sandy Hileman, husband, Jimmy, and daughters, Morgan Hileman and Brooke Hileman, all of Austin. He also leaves behind many friends and extended family. The family will receive friends and relatives between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2004 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held in Forrest Oaks Memorial Park on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Those desiring may make donations in Chucks memory to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
