Alfred Loera, Jr., Specialist E4 Marksman, age 68, of Austin, Texas passed away on Friday, January 12, 2007. He was preceded in death by parents, Alfredo and Anita Loera. Alfred is survived by his wife of 36 years, Frances Gallardo Loera; daughter, Magdalena Anita Sandoval and husband Jose Sandoval; sisters, Victoria Calderon and husband, Julio Calderon, Mercedes Delgado and husband Cruz Delgado, Sr.; his beloved dogs, Lobo, Chulo, Copper and Skippy; numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 17, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 18, at San Jose Catholic Church with Reverend Tom Frank officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
