

Janie was born in Luling, Texas, to parents Wayman and Blanche Tiller. After graduating as Valedictorian from Luling High School in 1963, she went on to The University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 1966. She worked in a number of jobs, and ultimately retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 2007.
Janie married Marshall Galloway, her devoted husband of 59 years, in Luling, and they had two sons, Kevin and Kelly, who meant the world to her.
Janie's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered, and her passing will be mourned deeply by those who knew and loved her. Her memory will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Janie was predeceased by her father Wayman and her mother Blanche Tiller. She is survived by her husband Marshall Galloway of Austin; son and wife Kevin and Diana Galloway of San Jose, California, son Kelly Galloway of Austin; grandchildren Jack Galloway of Buda, Texas, Tyler and Drew Galloway, and Cameron and Taylor Helms, all of San Jose; and sister Sally and husband Thom Baynum of Cibolo, Texas.
A viewing will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave. in Austin on July 30 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity in Janie's name.
