You will be forever missed. Your smile and beautiful soul lit up the room. The Matriarch of our family, always keeping us grounded, connected, and loving one another. Your consistent presence in our family’s life from the Thanksgiving coleslaw to the rocking and feeding of your 19th great grandchild, will be etched in our memories forever. Your energy and trailblazing fearlessness have been an inspiration to all your family, especially your young granddaughters.

Connecting with friends over bingo, bunco, bowling, poker, and yes Facebook, was your favorite past time. You loved your friends like family. They will miss you dearly. Whether sending them a Christmas card or winning their dimes at poker, your love always shined through.

Our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, aunt, poker & bingo buddy, we will miss your beautiful soul.

Services for Alice will be held on February 27, 2026, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 W William Cannon Dr Austin, TX 78749, starting with a visitation at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, and continuing with the burial at 12:00 PM. Please join the family for a reception following the burial.
