Alice B. Reed

Alice C. Reed, age 85, a native of Louisiana, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 in Georgetown, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Tommy Reed, Jr.; parents, Felix and Eunice Campbell; brothers, Laurie Campbell and Felix Campbell, Jr. Alice was a member of First United Methodist Church of Austin. She retired from the Austin ISD as registrar of Crockett High School. Alice was a volunteer at St. David’s Hospital for many years. Survived by her son, Tommy Reed III and wife Carolyn of Georgetown; daughter, Sharleen Reed of Georgetown; grandchildren, Kim Brewer and husband Mike of Austin, John Thomas Eli and wife Christy of Hewitt, Thomas Wilson Reed and wife Janis of Austin, Mary Alice Smith and husband Jason of Leander, Kevin Harper of Maryland; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Flint, Taylor, Bryant, Faith, Dalia, Laurie Elizabeth, Arryn Elizabeth, Luke Thomas, Aubrey Ruth; sister-in-law Zoe Nell Reed and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 9, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 10, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel, interment to follow at Capital Memorial Park in Pflugerville, Texas.
