Allene Brooks Allene Grace Crumley Johnson Brooks, born July 24, 1920, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004 surrounded by her loving family. Allene is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Wayland, Ava Wood, and Brenda Moore; daughter-in-law, LeAnna Johnson; seven grandchildren, Darrell Johnson, April Edwards, Emily Hays, Bethany Wood, Caleb Wood, Joseph Brooks and Julie Moore; five great grandchildren, and two brothers, Odus and Jerry Crumley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jones Edward Brooks, son O.W. Johnson, Jr., parents, Odus and Lola Crumley, and two sisters, Anasteen Cole and Wilma Jones. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Austin Memorial Park with Rod Minor, pastor of Anderson Mill Baptist Church officiating.
