Amelia Amy Kay was born in Frio County, Texas on November 8, 1952. She left us on December 9, 2006 to be with our Lord. She is survived by her husband, Victor; son, Roy; grandson, Christian; four brothers, Roy Guzman, Inez Guzman, Alfred Guzman and Manuel Guzman; and sister, Teresa Vidalez. There are many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention and she loved them all dearly. Amy grew up in Moore, Texas and attended school in Pearsall, Texas. She lived in Elgin for the past 19 years and loved being in the country. She spent many years remodeling our old country home. Gardening and landscaping were a favorite pastime. Amy loved animals, especially her dog, Penny. She was a member of Victory Christian Center in Austin. She loved going to church and worshiping our Lord and whenever possible she would minister to those who didnt know Gods word. She fought the good fight of faith to the very end. Amy touched many lives while she was here and will be missed greatly. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, December 11th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel with Pastor Lee Boss of Victory Christian Center officiating. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
