

Ann was raised in Waco, Texas and graduated from St. Louis Elementary and Reicher Catholic High School. She then attended McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas and graduated with a degree in nursing. Subsequently, she graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. For 36 years Ann was a highly skilled and dedicated dialysis and surgical nurse who provided the highest quality care for her patients. She was a loving sister and daughter who cared for her parents in their final years. Moreover, she deeply loved her extended family of nieces, nephews and friends. Ann was a loyal fan of both the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Baylor Bears and enjoyed attending and watching their games.
Ann was called to the Lord and is survived by D. E. Franco of Austin, Texas; brothers, Jack Boettcher and wife, Ellen, of Georgetown, Texas, and Brian Boettcher and wife, Mary Ellen, of Winchester, Massachusetts; nephew and niece, Trevor Wardlaw and wife, Kem, of McGregor, Texas, and Jennifer Schornack and husband, Michael, of Waco, Texas and Ellen Margaret Boettcher of Winchester, Massachusetts; cousins, Wendi Nielsen of Leawood, Kansas, MaryAlice Connelly of Concord, California, Beth Sousa of Bakersfield, California, Janice Bowser and husband, G. M., of Holton, Kansas, Delaine Hiett Brown and husband, Ed, of Grover Beach, California, Sara Gartner and husband, Phil, of Benton, Louisiana, and Marie Dittmer and husband, Mark, of Higginsville, Missouri; close friends, Patty Byrd and husband, Brian, and sons, Charles and Greg Pierce, of Waco, Texas, Kathy McMahon and daughter, Taja Beekley, and son, Noah Beekley, Melissa Stone and husband, Jeremy, Marisol Cadenas and husband, Abel, and Valerie Pruneda and son, Javier, Sara Franco and Xiomara Franco, all of Austin, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Sisters of Charity Retirement Fund, 4200 South 4th St., Leavenworth, Kansas 66048.
