

The beloved matriarch of her family, Anna was a tenacious German woman full of spirit and wisdom. She enjoyed the simple things in life: swimming in her pool, having friends over for coffee and cake, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandbabies.
Anna managed the cafe at Capitol Livestock Auction until it closed and then the Lockhart Livestock Auction cafe for 30 years. One of her greatest pastimes was crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, J.C. Williford, Wayne Bishop, and Bill Schmidt; sister, Freida Schranner, and brother, Herman Forster.
She will be missed by many and remembered for her loving devotion to her family. She leaves behind, her son, Jessie Williford; daughter, Ellen Schoen; grandson, Calvy Schoen; granddaughter, Misty Whited and her husband, James; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Sydney. She is also survived by her two sisters, Elsie Engstley and Maria Zilker and husband, Tony, and numerous nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 22, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Dyer officiating. Interment will follow services at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
Honoring Anna as pallbearers will be Edward Slezak, Charlie Reeves, John Spencer, Jan Croy, Robert Schoen, and Clifton Schoen.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made in Anna’s honor to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas or Special Olympics – Austin.
