

February 20, 1939 – September 8, 2008 Anne Lucy Storm Geis, 69, beloved daughter of Lynn and Maxine Storm, died September 8, 2008 in Austin, Texas after a lengthy battle with Diabetes. Born in New Iberia, LA, Anne moved to Texas at the age of four. The family eventually found its way to Austin where Anne was one of the first groups of students to attend and graduate from St. Stephens Episcopal School when it was founded. She attended the University of Texas for two years and was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. In 1961, she fell in love on a blind date and was married three months later to Albert Geis. They were married for 46 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter Kristen Herzog and her husband, Randy, of Dripping Springs, Texas; her son Grant Geis and his wife, Mya, of Hemet, CA; her brother, Scott Storm and his wife, Linda, of Austin, Texas; her sister, Lynette Storm, also of Austin, Texas; and three grandchildren. Anne was a devoted mother, wife and daughter. She was passionate in life and took immense pleasure in her family, her friends, her animals, her hobbies, her travels. Anne had a tremendously wicked sense of humor and was treasured by many as the truest of true friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Those wishing, may make contributions in her name to The American Diabetes Association.
