Beatrice Ramirez Torres, of Austin, passed away July 26, 2016, at the age of 75. Born September 9, 1940, in Lockhart, Texas. Beatrice's family moved to Austin when she was a little girl. She loved her family and felt it was her purpose in life. She will be greatly missed, for she was very loved.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents Antonio Ramirez and Librada Leyba Ramirez, brothers, Porfiro, Frank, and Joe, and sisters, Elena, Pauline, Petra, Mary. She is survived by her husband Pete Sr., sons, Pete Jr., Ernest and wife Becky, grandson, Ernest Jr., sister, Guadalupe Cadena and lots of nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
Thank you to all the family and friends that were there for Beatrice and the Torres family, it is greatly appreciated.
The Torres family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, August 5, 2016, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Deacon Richard Botello officiating. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
Honoring Beatrice as pallbearers will be Ronnie Gallardo, Sr., Homer Longoria, Tony Hinijosa, Elliott Ingram, Vincent Moreno, Andrew Garcia. Honorary pallbearer will be Ernest Torres, Jr.
