Betty Jane Jenkins was born April 19, 1922 in Jewett, Ohio to the late Harry Glen and Mary Nupp. She passed away from this life Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at her home. A loving mother and wife she is survived by her children, Kathleen Jenkins of Austin, Deborah Jenkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Janet Jenkins of Lago Vista, Mark Jenkins of Clearlake, Texas, and Robert J. Jenkins of Round Rock; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel with Monsignor Fred Bomar officiating. Interment will follow at 1:45 pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. The family respectfully request contributions be made to the American Heart Association or to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in lieu of floral remembrances.
