Betty Lynn Davis McMillan, born on August 3,1938 in Marshall, Texas, left our plane of existence to be in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 13, 2025, in Round Rock, Texas at 8:07pm .
Betty Lynn was the beloved daughter of Virgil Edwin Davis and Helen Mae Armstrong Davis Hutcheson. She was a bright shining light; rich in energy that she freely shared with all who knew her, friends and mere acquaintances alike. Betty’s time on Mother Earth was marked by her pure love, her sincere acts of compassion, and her unshakable Faith in God. Her passing has created an empty void in the hearts of her family and friends. However, we are comforted with the fact that Betty had a soothing soul that she often shared with others whom she barely knew. They might not know of her passing, but her effect in their lives is another legacy of her selfless acts of kindness for which she was known.
Betty is survived by her brothers, Jim Davis and his wife, Sandra, Pat Davis and his partner, Henry; also by her daughters, Kimberly Bass and her husband, Timothy; Kerri LLoyd and her husband, Maury; and her grandchildren, Sean Bass, Ryan Bass, and Jadelynn LLoyd.
Those who knew Betty will remember her love of butterflies and anything having to do with “Precious Moments” figurines. Betty had the rare gift of helping others to feel at ease. She will be greatly missed in this realm. Although Betty may no longer grace our present lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing and may we carry forth her legacy of Love and Compassion in all that we do. Her light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
