Beverly graduated from Emporia State University and went on to teach at Grape Bend Middle School for four years. After moving to Austin, she taught speech at UT for thirty years, always keeping in mind her favorite saying … "If you think education is expensive…try ignorance".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Audrey Groh and sister, Barbara Taylor.
Beverly belonged to many organizations including the Assistance League of Austin and University Ladies Club. She quietly touched the lives of many and chose to quietly leave this earth. She leaves with all the love and warmth she gave to remember and cherish her memory.
Thanks to all who loved and cared for Beverly. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Assistance League, University Ladies Club, or a charity of choice.
Remember Beverly where she would want to be remembered … in your hearts.
