Consider myself VERY lucky to have shared many field trips 'botanizing' with Burford, who was always more than happy to tell me "how the cow eats the cabbage." Lots of great memories. Goodbye, old friend... and thank you.

Condolences to Dorothy and family,

Ray Emmett, Altamonte Springs, FL

I have such dear memories of Dorothy and Burford and family at Holy Cross. Good times and good music. He always brought dedication and skill and love of the Lord to his music.
Tidings of Comfort and Joy.

We have such fond memories of Burford and the whole family. What a marvelous organist and dedicated church musician Burford was. There are so many memories of hikes, discussions of worship planning, after choir rehearsal parties, cactus sightings and so much more. Our prayers and warm wishes are with the Westlund family and all those near and dear to them.
