

Carole Psak was born on November 23, 1937, in New Orleans, LA to parents Gilbert Victor Andry and Ruby Helen.
Carole was full of life and very involved in her community. She was a Medical Technologist and X-Ray Tech for over 40 years. She served as President of the Medical Wives Association of Hidalgo County, McAllen City Federation of Women’s Clubs, Parents without Partners, and McAllen Garden Club. She was a devout Catholic and served in the Altar Society and created The Lay Missionaries of Mother Teresa for St. Catherine of Siena. This organization supported many Catholic charities, including Mary’s House. She was also active in Krafty Ladies and the Red Hat Society. She was extremely giving and generous of her talents, time, and self.
She loved her family and was always involved in her kids’ activities. She served as home room mom and Girl Scout Troop leader. She enjoyed attending sports events and was the head of all family gatherings. She was the ultimate optimist and was always willing to listen and provide support. Our mother had a heart of gold and it shined through to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters: Michelle Good and husband Steve Good, Rachel Harley, and Loretta Jamison; her step-daughters: Jamie L. Psak and Jerre L. Psak, her grandchildren: Sarah Good, Dylan Panek, Andrew Good, Brandon Panek, Jenny Jamison and her great-grandchildren: Kaylee Porter and Daniel Silva.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Psak, her son, Ken W. Fesler II, and her grandson, Ian Good.
The visitation will be held on January 5, 2023, from 4:30 - 7:00 pm with the Holy Rosary commencing at 5:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home located at 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, TX 78749. A Memorial Mass will be on January 6, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church located at 4800 Convict Hill Rd., Austin, TX 78749, with a reception to follow at the Siena Hall.
