Carolyn Van Camp Coe

She proudly graduated from St. John's School in Houston in 1960 and attended Southern Methodist University. She began her career at Tenneco in Houston and then briefly sold real estate in Dallas, but her main career was as a wife and mother.

Carolyn loved to antique shop, garden, and feed the birds. After moving to Kerrville, she became an avid Spurs fan and enjoyed attending the symphony. She was a member of Tri Delta sorority and its alumni group, The Junior League of Dallas, PEO of Kerrville, Riverhill Garden Club, and her churches, St. John The Divine in Houston, Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, and Kerrville's First United Methodist Church.

She was married to Robert Vernon Coe, Jr. for 42 years, and they had one daughter, Kathy. Bob preceded Carolyn in death in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Coe, who was with her as she passed, and her ex-husband Buzz Cooper.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
