She was born and raised in Goose Creek, Texas where she was active in the Methodist Church. She was loved by all who knew her, and was voted Homecoming Duchess in college. She married her childhood sweetheart and moved to Chicago, where she started her own successful medical transcription service. They raised their daughters in the suburb of Park Ridge, Illinois.
She was married to Robert Kenneth Moak, who died in 1989, and is survived by her four loving daughters Leslie Alison Murray, Mary Lyle Duncan, Luann Kreyche, and Lori Ellen Noblet, seven grandchildren, her sister Marian Ashley and her brother Robert McMaster.
There will be a memorial service at Grace Methodist Church in Baytown, Texas on Thursday, July 26 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
