Catherine Christie Dale

Catherine Christie Dale transitioned to her Heavenly Home on January 24, 2022. Cathy was surrounded by loving family as she took her last breath. Upon her arrival there she was greeted by Kelly Dale, the father of her son Kaden, her parents Jim and Mary Lou Christie, her brother Jim Christie and numerous ancestors, relatives and friends who had preceded her.

Cathy was born on June 5, 1969 and lived her early life in Lake Jackson, Texas. After graduating from Brazoswood High School she moved to Houston and began a career in the travel Industry. Later moving to Austin she went to work for First Financial which she enjoyed until passing.

Cathy was passionate about her family and nature. She loved flowers, plants and animals, especially her dog and cats. She loved all things Mother and purple! Cathy loved herbals, pleasant scents, music (especially Lenny Kravitz) and sharing the joy of playing in drum circles. Cathy loved to decorate for the holidays, particularly Halloween. She doted on her son, Kaden, and her home is filled with his artwork from the time he could pick up something with which to draw or paint.

Cathy leaves a loving family, including her son, Kaden, and husband, Rob Robinson. She is also survived by her cousins Jennifer Clark, Sandy Rogge, Jennifer Isola-Mayes, and Dan and Sue Isola, aunt Corrinn Clark, as well as mother-in-law Ann Dale, brother-in-law Chris Dale (Kristin), sister-in-law Kari Blenderman (Shane) and her nieces, nephews and close friends.

Cathy was dearly loved. Her laugh was infectious, and she laughed often! She will be missed and always remembered with joy.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled within the next few weeks.
