Cate was our teacher and taught us to marvel at life and embrace it and its mysteries with full and open hearts. She held a candle for all of God's creatures that are muted, powerless, and rely solely on the kindness of others. May that candle burn brightly for all the world to see.
She was born in Austin on February 28, 2014. Cate was predeceased by her grandfather Robert George of Dallas and is survived by her great-grandmother, Mary Gay George of Dallas, grandparents Lynn and Lucius Bunton of Austin and Linda George of Dallas. She is also survived by four uncles and their wives: Desha Bunton and Jesse of Lakeway; Michael George and Molly of Austin; Mitchell George and Caitlin of Houston; Christopher George and Emilie of Dallas, and a large extended family.
The family would like to express its thanks for the compassionate and unwavering care Cate received at Dell Children's Medical Center.
A memorial service for Cate will be held at 11:00 A.M., January 2, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church of Austin.
