

MSgt. Charles Howard Farber, Sr. Charles Howard Farber, Sr., passed away on August 9, 2003. He was born in New Buffalo, Michigan on April 19, 1925. Chuck retired from the Air Force on Aug 30, 1966 after serving 22 years. His tour of duty included WWII, The Korean War, and the war in Viet Nam. Following his military service he began his second career as a city letter carrier for the United States Postal Service where he served 23 years until his retirement on July 31, 1990. His enjoyment in life was his family, coaching baseball, watching WWF and Cowboy football games. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years Florence, his sister Martha Wheatbrook, daughter Sandy, son Chuck and wife Kim, son Bob and wife Kathy, son Steven, son David and wife Natalie, son Mark and wife Stephanie, son Sean and wife Marie, numerous grand children and great grand children. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday evening at Weed Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at 11:00am at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
