Charles W. Hakim, 61, passed away November 23, 2014. He was born March 11, 1953 in Dallas, Texas. He was the only child of Al and Lois Hakim. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University,with his degree in business.
On February 21, 1982, Charlie married the love of his life, Elodie in Jackson, Mississippi. They were blessed with two children; Rachael Anne Smith and Bryan Joseph Hakim. Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed watching his children play ball.
In 2010, Charles and Elodie were blessed with their first grandchild, Deon Wade Smith. Charlie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Elodie Hakim, son Bryan Hakim, daughter Rachael Smith and grandchild Deon Smith.
Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, Texas 78749.
