He was an ironworker/welder before retiring in 1995 due to health issues. Chuck enjoyed riding his Harley. He also loved all animals and his four dogs and four cats will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Calene Summers of Austin; daughter, Theresa Summers and fiancé Mike Goode of Austin; brothers, Martin Summers of Powell, Wyoming and Emile Summers and wife, Joy of Lacey. Washington.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary, P.O. Box 1555, Drippings Springs, Texas 78620 in honor of Chuck.
