

Clarence Harvey Baker Clarence Harvey Baker was born in Aitkin, Minnesota on April 7th 1927 to Harvey and Hazel Baker, their first-born of 5 children. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1948, then studied to be a draftsman at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. On April 13th 1951, he married the love of his life, Grace Marie Hagberg. After living in Duluth Minnesota for 33 years, they moved to Austin, TX in 1990 where they formed many wonderful relationships. Celebrating his life are his wife, Grace Marie Baker; his children, David (Brainerd, MN), Bruce and wife Elaine (Phoenix, AZ), Jolene and husband Terry Case (Lakeland, FL), Cheryl and husband Phil Moraw (Plant City, FL), Darrel and wife Tracy (Duluth, MN), Paul and wife Deborah (Austin, TX), John and wife Leeanne (Duluth, MN), and Phillip and wife Beth (Douglassville, PA); he was blessed with 23 dearly loved grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Vernon, Roger, and Don Baker; and his sister Marlys Blake. He kept his wonderful sense of humor and sang hymns of praise to his Lord throughout his last days on this earth. He died peacefully on September 16, 2004 with many family members and the love of his life at his side a beautiful love story to the end. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 20, 2004 at the Church of Glad Tidings, 2700 Northland Dr., Austin. Burial will be held at Sunrise Memorial Park in Duluth, Minnesota.
