David Thomas Phillips

David was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on February 5, 1948 to Stanley Chester Phillips and Ester C. Phillips. He attended the University of Michigan and remained a loyal fan throughout his life. David was married to Carolyn Wingard on March 12, 1994 in Lakeway, Texas. He was a long time real estate investor and the recently retired owner of Carlisle Apartments, Inc.

David is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Chester Phillips and a brother, Christopher Phillips.

David is survived by his wife Carolyn Wingard Phillips, daughter Brooke Phillips Lenard and husband David Shane Lenard, sister Kathleen Sheldon, brothers Thomas Phillips, Alan Phillips, Roy Phillips, James Phillips, John Phillips, mother Esther C. Phillips, granddaughter Katlyn Dawn Robicheaux, grandson Braylon Thomas Lenard, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

David lived his life to the fullest as if it was a never ending party. His determination, dedication, and willingness to live, is reflected in his success. His legacy in real estate began in Houston, TX in the early 80's. He continued to dedicate himself to his business until the day he died. His greatest joys in life were golfing, water and snow skiing, football, music, dancing, entertaining, cooking and traveling the globe and his family. He will never be forgotten.

There will be a wake held at Weed-Corley-Fish funeral home, located at 3125 N. Lamar, Austin, TX 78705 at 2pm, August 26, 2017. Reception to follow.
