Delores Mae Papke entered into eternal rest on August 31, 2016, in Austin, Texas. She was born Delores Mae Newsom on August 21, 1927, in Brenham, Texas. Delores married her beloved husband, Henry A. Papke, on September 8, 1946. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Papke.
Delores is survived by her sons, Henry L. Papke, and Howard G. Papke and his wife Cathy Papke; grandsons, Andrew G. Papke and wife Janine DeKing, David H. Papke and wife Cheri; granddaughter, Luci J. Papke and wife Brittany Yankovich; great-granddaughter, Hannah Papke; and a host of other loving family and friends.
The family will receive visitors from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 P.M., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Anderson of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Interment immediately following at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
