Donald graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He enlisted in the Army, worked with artillery and was later in the Army Reserves. He also worked for the LCRA and DuPont.
Donald’s favorite color was blue. He was a lover of food. He enjoyed spending time hiking through state parks. He was a lover of astronomy and enjoyed stargazing. Photography was a favorite pastime of his. He was an avid reader - especially about history and archeology. There was one particular cat in his life that cherished him dearly.
Donald was a kind, sensitive, helpful and supportive intellectual. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his sister, Carol and brother-in-law, Alvie, along with relatives from Canada and neighbors who were practically family and were loved very much.
