Born on May 23, 1957, in Charleston, South Carolina, Donna was the beloved daughter of Dorothy and Clyde Howie. She graduated from Anderson High School and went on to build a meaningful career, first working in electronics at Motorola and later serving as an inventory analyst at St. David’s.
Donna’s faith in the Lord ran deep and guided her throughout her life. She was a woman of quiet strength and enduring grace, who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.
She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Erica Howie, and son-in-law, Benjamin Grajczyk. Some of her happiest times were spent with Erica—crafting, shopping, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Donna also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Daisy, whose companionship brought her much joy.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Clark Howie and his wife Lauren, Tim Howie and his wife Jasmyn Yu, and best friend Lisa Brodowski; as well as her nieces Eden Yu, Nevaeh Yu, and Aria Howie, and nephews Brandon Itz and Taylor Itz.
Donna’s legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to PAWS Animal Shelter, a cause close to her heart.
