Donnell June Lang Sutherland

Donna Lang Sutherland, 78, went to be with her Lord on March 4, 2015, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born October 31, 1936, and was a lifelong resident of Austin. She was predeceased by her Mother, Neenah Lang and Auntie Zera Jones, who, together, raised her.

Donna was a loving and giving mother and grandmother to those who survive her, daughter Kim Jenkins Morgan and son Mark Jenkins, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends Judy Bob Clark Zaleski, Judy Cox Day and Kathy Seiter, her Guardian.

Donna lived an active life and was involved in the Land and Title business for many years. She was a whiz with numbers and could count backwards from 100 until the end. She had an amazing sense of humor and brought joy to those around her.

The last five years she was a resident at Ashwood Assisted Living. She made many friends there, including her group of smoking buddies. She was loved and cared for by the wonderful staff there and was always quick to say thank you.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Ashwood, 12151 Hunters Chase, Austin, 78729, on Monday, March 9th at 2:00 pm.
