Doris Rose Cox, age 71, of Austin, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006. Rose was born October 13, 1934 in Irvine, Kentucky. She retired from the Veterans Administration. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Richard Elliot Sutherland. She is survived by her sisters, Helen M. Deering, of Damascus, Maryland and Edna Sievers, of Austin.
