

Dorothy Harrison Marrow Dorothy Harrison Marrow passed away Friday, October 17, 2003. She was born September 22, 1910 in Rotan, Texas to Rev. Charles Sheppard Harrison and Bertha Fairies Harrison. Mrs. Marrow retired in 1960 after 20 years as a buyer and bridal consultant for Scarbroughs downtown department store, having the distinction of being the first bridal consultant in Austin. Mrs. Marrow was a member of St. Davids Episcopal Church. After retiring, she gave of her time and talent for many years at the churchs Next to New Shop and afterwards volunteered countless hours over 15 years as a Robin at St. Davids Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Ned Marrow, nephew, Charles Sheppard Harrison, III and his family of San Antonio, Texas, and other family members. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2003 at Austin Memorial Park with The Rev. David Boyd of St. Davids Episcopal Church officiating.
