Douglas “Dougie” Powell Scales IV Even though your life on Earth was short, your memory will last eternally in our hearts. Dougie, attended Cedar Creek Middle School where he was a member of the Drama Club. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 1998 in Cedar Creek and was an active member at Wyldwood Baptist Church. Dougie was very passionate about fishing and loved to see any 1969 Chevelle. Douglas is survived by his father Doug Scales III; mother and stepfather Sandy and David Berron; sisters, Maryfrances and Sandydenise Scales, Melissa and brother-in-law Emilio Vela; Maternal grandparents Mary F. Gonzales, Domingo Gonzales Sr. and wife Aida A. Gonzales; paternal grandparents Douglas Jr. and Francis Scales; uncles Paul Scales, Andrew Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales, Julian Gonzales and wife Ruby, Domingo Gonzales and girlfriend Joe’e Acosta, Almanzo Manny Gonzales and wife Stephanie; aunt Azalea Gonzales and husband Saul Villegas all of the Austin area, uncle Ron Smith of Fairfield, Tx., Stan Smith of Bay City, Tx, cousins, Diamond, Nichole, Crystal, Ruben, Angela, Lori, Desiree, Julie, Jonelle, Anthony, Celia, Jacob, Joseph, Mathew, Jonathan, Saralena, Tiffany, Rigo, Michelle, Marcus, Christopher, Caleb and Angel. I Miss You Dougie! We Will Be Together Again. Love Always Melissa. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Avenue.
