

Eddie was born February 10, 1944, in Tyler, Texas and he was the first born of 5 sons. Eddie was never married so there are no extended family details.
His Elementary Schooling took place at San Jacinto elementary in Ennis, Texas and he further attended and graduated from Ennis High School. In 1962, the family moved to Austin, Texas where Eddie worked for the University of Texas Applied and Defense Research labs for many years. Eddie also attended the University of Texas where he received his Bachelor of Arts followed by his Master of Education. Eddie then worked for the UT Department of Education until he retired in 2002.
Eddie was also a member of the Masonic family. He belonged to Austin Lodge #12 and was raised to a Master Mason on July 17, 1965. In March of 2017, he received his 50 year pin and was looking forward to achieving additional milestones. Eddie also belonged to the Austin Scottish Rite Bodies and Ben Hur Shrine Temple but unfortunately details of his service with these organizations are not available.
Eddie is survived by his brothers Douglas E. Parker, Donald A. Parker, Gary A. Parker and wife Cynthia Wilcox Parker and their three children Shelby R. Parker, Johnathan P. Parker and his wife Kim Nguyen Parker and Daughter Vanessa, Lindsay A. Parker and her children Ada May Moxley, David B Moxley, Lysette Enedelia Sanchez, Gary George Sanchez, and Celest Isabelle Parker. From Ronald Parkers family Eddie is survived by Brittany Kernahan and husband Kristopher Kernahand as well as Kathryn Parker Abramson and her husband Dustin Abramson and New arrival Beckett Abramson.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 5416 Parkcrest Drive, Austin TX 78731 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
