

Edward Goldfarb Edward Goldfarb passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 98, on Tuesday, July 27, 2004. He was born on March 11, 1906. Edward came to the United States from Russia in 1910. He lived most of his life in West Lost Angeles and retired to Austin in 1980. Poppy had a wonderful sense of humor and was deeply loved by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ethel Goldfarb, his 3 brothers and a sister. He is survived by his dog Little Eddie; daughter Judi Stevens and husband Eddie, granddaughter, Laura Luddy and husband Bob, and great-granddaughter, Emma; son, Martin Goldfarb and wife LuAnne, grandsons, Isaiah and Micah and wife Rose; sister, Ethel Haymond. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his loving caregiver, Sheila Reynolds who helped him live a quality life; Dr. Alan Sonstein and staff; Carol Burns R.N. and staff with Robinson Creek Hospice. He was a hoot and will be greatly missed. Need you be worried, Poppy!!! Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2004 at Beth Israel III/Capital Memorial Park.
